The cave Devetashka is one of the biggest caves in Bulgaria. Its common lenght is 2 442 metres, its common area is 20 400 square metres, its hight is 60 metrs. It is situated about 15 km to the north of the town of Lovech, near to the village of Devetaki.
The cave is found in 1921. There are found some of the most interesting findings from the time of the noelit in the Bulgarian lands. In the past it is used as a military object, to keep petrol, and in present time there are still big cisterns near to the entrance of the cave. It is also used as a storage for food of the state reserv and place for rocket settlements. In 1996 the cave is pronounced to be a Protected object.
